InSitu Software was founded by two industry veterans who have known and worked with each other for almost 30 years. Yeah – that's a long time together, but it has been a fun ride that has taken a new turn. With InSitu Software, we are pursuing a dream to make a difference in the world and stay true to those principles that have proven successful - customer focus, commitment to excellence, continuous improvement and personal integrity. Plus, the challenge of creating something new in the emerging space of cloud computing was too great to pass up.
We know software development and we know CRM. In fact, our founders had the fortunate opportunity to be part of an amazing team that built a successful CRM software company which was sold to a (much) bigger enterprise. It was then that we came to realize what we really love is the small passionate organizations that are really close to their customers – ones that listen and understand the challenges users face with technology today. But, there's more to software development than that. Solutions must be high quality, well engineered, easy to use and deliver on their promised value. Unfortunately, the small tools business is littered with poor quality, unsupported, cheap solutions that promise more than they can deliver. InSitu Software is out to change that.
So why focus the company on Salesforce CRM? We figured what the world didn't need was another CRM product. We truly believe that salesforce.com as a company, Salesforce CRM as a product and Force.com as a technology platform are a winning combination. With our field experience and technical expertise, we have the unique opportunity to make a great product even greater. And, to help those who use and support Salesforce CRM make a difference in their organization.
Meet Our Founders
Bob Nagy
Bob is a seasoned technology executive with over 30 years experience designing and building enterprise business applications.
Prior to starting InSitu Software, Bob served as Vice President of Product Strategy for LexisNexis InterAction (formerly Interface Software) the leading provider of CRM software and services for professional services firms and other relationship-based organizations. Bob was responsible for the company’s long-term product design and strategic direction. As one of its first employees, Bob played an instrumental role in growing the InterAction business from its initial beginnings to the eventual sale of Interface Software to LexisNexis, a division of Reed Elsevier, in 2004.
Bob began his career in the Audit Technology Services group at Arthur Andersen & Co. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University and a Masters degree from The Ohio State University.
Bob loves to golf and is an avid college football fan.
Terry Hamer
Terry has more than 30 years of professional software development experience, She has a solid track record of solving complex technology problems and bringing innovative solutions to the marketplace. Terry’s development experience has included architecting enterprise customer relationship management systems, integration tools and large scale data quality solutions.
Previously, Terry was Vice President of Product Development for LexisNexis InterAction (formerly Interface Software) where she had overall responsibility for solutions architecture, development and delivery. Throughout her 12+ year tenure, Terry led many of the ground-breaking initiatives that helped InterAction become the award-winning and preferred relationship intelligence solution and platform for professional services firms world-wide.
Prior to Interface Software, Terry spent 12 years at Andersen (formerly Arthur Andersen & Co.) where she served as a senior manager in the Audit Technology Services group, which was responsible for research, development and implementation of technology solutions for over 17,000 audit professionals.
Terry graduated Summa Cum Laude from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Business degree.
